I am Sister Inayah Pogue. I’m blessed to have the opportunity to serve as the K3/K4 supervisor this school year. My husband is Pastor Dane Pogue. We have been married since 2015 and have 4 beautiful children. Destiny (20), Zion (9), Noel (7), Able (5). I have served at Freedom In Christ Church alongside my husband since 2016. Some of the areas I’ve served include nursery, praise and worship team, youth group, children’s church, summer camp, and special events. The Lord has blessed me with different seasons, where I was able to gain so much experience. Before making it to Freedom Christian Academy I worked in the public school, a private education school, and a mental health facility for troubled youth.
Freedom Christian Academy has been a blessing to my entire family. Getting to be here at school every day I can see the impact that the culture of the school can have on a child. Freedom Christian Academy has a culture of true agape love for all. To me, the best part is that it’s not forced on the children but taught, shown, and experienced by the students to allow them to see the glory of God’s love and how truly amazing it is. Along with the culture, the academics at Freedom Christian Academy are truly what I feel all children need. Students are met where they are, but with a bar set that continues to rise as the student improves. Children are so resilient, especially in a nurturing environment. When a child sees that they are reaching goals that they have set for themselves, the sky is the limit. Children will continue to rise to the occasion.
Freedom Christian Academy has blessed my family in so many ways. Personally speaking, every Friday my heart is touched during praise and worship service. To hear the children cry out to the Lord in song the way FCA students do, is a healing process that seems to melt any stress from my week away. It truly brings me to tears every week. Freedom Christian Academy is the choice school for a family that would like to bring their children up with a spirit of excellence, in a nurturing environment, where the school is not just an education facility, but a supportive family that works with the family to help your children see the excellent plans the Lord has for their lives and that we can truly do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
